Abhishek Sachdev, CEO of Vedanta Hedging was interviewed in The Times on August 10th about the Global Restructuring Group (GRG) within RBS. The Bank is preparing to review thousands of cases for potentially inappropriate treatment by its staff within the GRG division.
Vedanta Hedging is concerned that because the Bank is using the same contractors (ex-Relationship Managers) as from the FCA IRHP Review (into mis-sold derivatives for SMEs), these same contractors will again take an unfairly ‘hard’ attitude towards these SMEs, many of which have been poorly treated by the IRHP Review process.
