Abhishek Sachdev, MD of Vedanta Hedging, was asked by Jason Farrell of Sky News to provide an immediate reaction to the FSA update on 31st January 2013, regarding interest rate swap mis-selling.
Abhishek comments briefly on the evidence of pressure placed onto SMEs to take out hedging products, but that they can be appropriate for SMEs if sold appropriately.
He also comments on the fact that the provisions set aside so far by the Banks are much lower than predicted by Vedanta Hedging.
