Francisco (Paco) Carballo leads our Accounting for Derivatives team providing support and risk management solutions to our clients. He joined Vedanta Hedging in May 2020.
Prior to this, Paco was at JCRA, EY where he was a Director of FAAS, Chatham Financial and Deloitte, accumulating more than 15 years leading teams specialised in advising and auditing non-financial clients in financial risk and hedge accounting. He has helped hundreds of clients understand their market risks and reporting their hedges under IFRS (IAS39 and IFRS9), US GAAP and UK GAAP (FRS102).
His career started leading derivatives sales desks at international banks in London and Spain (Sumitomo, Commerzbank, Credit Lyonnais, Banco Sabadell and Banco Santander).
Paco studied his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from ESADE in Barcelona.
