BBC TV Interviews Abhishek Sachdev about Interest Rate Swap Mis-Selling

Abhishek Sachdev (Managing Director of Vedanta Hedging) was interviewed again by the BBC into the investigation about Interest Rate Swap Mis-Selling by British Banks.

Mr.Sachdev, an FSA Authorised Expert in Financial Derivatives, was asked his opinion about how and why these were sold to businesses. He explains that the issue is a complex one, and these products can and do have substantial benefits for businesses as part of a Risk Management strategy.

As Mr.Sachdev explains to Robert Peston, the BBC Business Editor, the risks also need to be shown to the client at the same time as the benefits.
